Any Experience With Fly Ash as a Soil Stabilizer?

Does anyone have any experience with using coal fly ash as a soil stabilizer? If so, did you use ash from lignite or bituminous coal? How did it work? We have a yard that has an ongoing problem with frost boils and even after getting worked up a bit and dried out will promptly turn spongy. Unfortunately hauling everything out and starting over is not an option. Someone recommended fly ash as a stabilizer. How much will we need to put down and what's the life span of it?

new holland LS140

When starting my New Holland skidsteer turning the ignition to the far right will start the unit, but when I release the key it goes out. IF I hold the key to the far right continuously, it remains running, but then goes out when I release it. I have already replaced the ignition with a new one and the same problem persists. How do I fix this issue. Thanks in advance for you input.

New holland lt95 tracks locked

My friend has a new holland lt 95 and the left track has locked up and will not move in either direction and bogs the motor down. What. Cold the problem be?? This is a hystat machine and I don't know much about it. Any help please also when he parked it it was running fine and when he got on it the next day it didnnot move.

450G John Deere dozer

I have a 450G John Deere dozer, engine T0404, IDt0450GH832762. Problem is that the operator let the machine run out of fuel and now will not start. Do I have to bleed the system, and if so, where do I bleed? How far does the pickup extend in the tank and does is have a fuel filter? Thanks for any help as I am rather new to heavy equipment. How about starting fluid to start?

Komatsu D37e-2 steering help.

Hello



I have a 89 D37E-2 1600 sn.



It will not steer to the left only some of the times forward or back wards. If i step on the right brake and pull the left lever I can get it to steer.

I pulled off the metering valve and put new seals in it now I want to pull the cover and look at the brake lining and the clutch plates. The way I understand it is the left side plates disengage and the brake lining is applied. IS this correct. any recommendations on what side to look at and where to buy parts.



I live in Texas and am very new to the dozer driving but I really enjoy it. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
