I have a tl 130 and and after running it for half hour I lost hi speed light came one but machine moved slow. Then it just died, sputtered and shut off. It turns over fine but won't start any ideas.

Cat 416C 4x4 front axle differential pinion bearing drag?

Hi. Does anybody know how many inch-pounds the pinion bearings must rotationally drag before the differential carrier is reinstalled? i.e. Tighten the pinion yoke nut, then put a torque wrench on an measure the rotational drag of the bearings? If not enough, tighten the pinion yoke nut a bit more, then measure again. My Dodge rear diff is about 20 in-lb to turn the pinion w/o the diff carrier installed. Not sure what the Cat 416C would be.

Mini digger grease nipple

I'm having trouble greasing the lower part in this picture... i recently got shims put in a few months ago I think the guy may have put the bolt in the wrong way so i can't grease it...have tried new nipples...it looks completely sealed and not by dirt or anything just the bolt....

Does anyone know how I can get this out and turn it so i can grease it...is there any special tricks because ive had a go but no luck...thanks!

JD steering went out suddenly

After warming up my 03' John Deere 310G for five minutes or so I started heading to the field to work when suddenly the steering wheel felt as if the power steering went out.

I recently replaced the two hoses from the steering box to the rack and pinion steering at the front axle. Tho the steering was working good for the past week after replacing the hoses. I've checked for any kinks in the hoses and everything is ok too.

I'm not sure what else to look for and could use some advice from anyone who can assist?

941B Steering Pedal Issue

I have a 941B and the right side steering pedal won't recoil when released and is hard to push. It has been doing this for awhile now, but has been parked for a few months and has gotten really bad. Steering is kinda sluggish when it is pushed too, but does steer. The left side functions fine. I used to load trucks and used the right side a lot more than the left. Could it be a track issue or a fluid flow issue? Could it be that the clutch is worn out? Hope not! I have a lot of work to do with this machine and need to get it figured out.
