Asphalt blowers

Anyone's company use those blowers like they have at the airports, or race tracks for drying milled, or reclaimed surface before you pave after it rains. I think they run around 15 grand, but I think it would be worth it if you can get paving faster after a rain. Especially if you are on, or near penalty.

Hello, everyone I have case 580 sk I pulled the backhoe up on a slight hill and parked it there for a few days jumped in to move it would not move in forward or reverse hooked truck to it and got it on level ground nothing. So then decided to change the trans axel fluid and filters found and checked the screens in the line were nice and clean. I tried again nothing but when I checked the new filter there was no fluid in it ? that's where I am at no forward or reverse also I let the backhoe run to warm it up thinking could help nothing could this be charge pump whats next inline to check out thanks mike

D4D Track Swap

Today we swapped out one set of tracks on my D4D with 18" pads on them (wore down to about 1" of grouser bar height) for another set that came off one of my scrapper machines. It went pretty well for being our first time doing it. We walked out of one set & into the next ones. The replacement pads are 16" wide with about 1 3/4" of depth.

2002 case 621 D

I have a Case 621 D we use it mostly in the snow. I went to get it ready for transport back to the shop for maintenance before the season starts. when I got there the unit wouldn't start. it would turn over but not start so I diagnosed it to the fuel shut off. I replaced it. it started just fine the I went to move the unit I noticed the dash dosn't show any thing unless I hold the reset down for more then ten seconds. when I let the reset go it gose back to nothing. then I checked the controls for the boom and bucket they are not working. I can put the unit in forward and reverse it beeps in reverse but it wont move any Ideas I have checked the fuses and relays they all seam to be in tak. oh yea one more thing if I turn the lights on it beeps at me like the unit is turned off.

JLG Skytrak Broken Retract chain...

I am in need of some advice on how to go about changing out the retractor chain (which broke and cut into hoses).
Should I remove the entire boom from the machine, or try and take it apart on the machine. Any good color manuals
I can reference?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I have a yard full of neglected equipment I'm trying to get back in service and it

Browsing machinery trader looking at crap I don't need and cant afford and stumbled across this interesting piece. How can they sell essentially an Identical machine to a D7 without getting the pants sued off them?

Moving a non-running skid

This is a John Deere 90 skid steer. Fairly small, weighs about 3500 lbs, 23 horse engine, built in the 1980's. It's sitting in a valley about 300 yards from my house/workshop. Engine won't start. No compression in one cylinder. I changed the valve seat in that cylinder about 10 running hours ago, but it didn't last.

I've ordered a new replacement engine for it. I'd like to change the engine where all my tools, jacks, etc are on solid ground instead of trying to change it out in a grassy field.

Any idea on how to move the skid? I have two farm type tractors that can be used to tow/drag the skid if it was sitting on some sort of platform.
