genie tmz 34/19 lift

I have a 1999 genie tmz 34/19 lift that has a problem with the platform controls.
Everything works on the ground controls, but the up and down controls on the platform do not work.
Can this be a problem with the green boards? Thanks for any help.

I started this thread to avoid completely highjacking the one about Nige, because Tony's name was brought up there.
Back in April he was highly offended (and rightly so) by a member with the user name etd66ss. So much so that he said he was done with HEF and would not be back.
I wish he were still with us. He is (was) one of the best of the best when it came to helping members here.

So, I had a thread going last fall about my Genie lift, then it got snowy and wintry, and I didn't use the machine much, and didn't want to work on it in the freezing VT winter and never really got to the bottom of my problem. Now that it's spring I need to get it up and running.

2001 Genie S60

I have a Genie S60 2001 year model that shakes/shudders when extending the boom. Now here is some details: all wear pads have been replaced or shimmed to tolerance, it does not shudder when boom is raised above horizontal, it does not shudder when retracting at any time no matter the boom position. So is it a hydraulic problem? Is the boom bent/twisted? We use this machine daily and the problem just kind of started one day. I cannot seem to nail it down. Machine is serviced regularaly with...
