While I don't do stuff near as cool as most of you I figured I'd start showing what I do on a regular basis. I'd like to name my favorites on here, but being a father of five I've learned to avoid hurt feelings haha. I manage equipment for a small excavating company. We run a D11N, D7R, D5G, D65, Steiger 485 HD with two 19 yard pans, two 210 Linkbelts, 110 SD roller, champion grader, 627B and a couple water trucks. I do all the service work and 99% of the repairs. Just did steering...

S150 Overheating?

After 30 mins of light use temperature light comes on and shuts machine off. Gauge is only half way not in the red. Rad is clean and coolant level is good. If i let it sit to cool down it will fire right up and run until it shuts down again. Machine has about 1500 hrs. Any ideas what to look at?

2012 Volvo ECR88 Blow By??

Guys,

Posting for my brother who is looking at an 88 with 2200 hours. D3.4 motor. With motor running and oil cap off there was what looked like blow by, but when you look down in the oil reservoir under the cap there are gears moving. Is this blow by, or just oil splattering caused by these gears. I may be using the wrong nomenclature, but hopefully that gives you an idea of what we're seeing. Does anybody who runs this machine know If this is normal.

Hi there guys, just wondered if anyone has the new E35 Bobcat (R model) and that had the previous model as a comparison
yet?
In Australia the new "R" model has only just arrived (last week), not officially released yet but my local dealer showed me one hidden away, unfortunately in their wisdom the Australian importer has decided to bring them in with the 24hp Motor (E35i) instead of the 33hp model, the dealer is trying to tell me the 24hp model has the same breakout performance and cycle...

310G backhoe cranks over but wont start

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a little help here if possible. The unit is a 310G and it does have an ECU. Things started out back in April with this backhoe that was misfiring due to a bad injector and had a leak in the fuel tank. I took the tank off for repair and replaced all the injectors. Well it sat for 4 months till the owner had the tank repaired. I installed the tank, added fuel, bled air from the system and tried to fire it up. It won't start.
