Daewoo/Solar 450-III boom hydraulic issue

I have an issue on my 450 Daewoo, for some reason that I can't find, the book will hydraulically lock when trying to go down. Sometimes you can get it to work by moving the stick, but other times you have to take what appears to be a check valve out to get it to drop.
Hope someone has some info for me on this. Thanks

I have been searching the internet trying to identify this brand of grader but can't find another one that looks like it for identification. Can someone please identify what make/manufacturer and possible model this grader might be. I think it has a diesel engine. Any idea of the approximate year and value?

We have had a weeping final drive seals on both sides for some time, so decided to replace them one at a time. Took the housing apart to inspect things inside & so far all bearings/races look good. The #5S6531 Holder has wear from where the track pivots at the back & the large brass pivot bearing is shot too. Have ordered both the new Holder & the Support #5M6636, as they were reasonable priced. I have never been able to get grease in that back pivot since owning it. If there are any...

416C Thermostat housing leak

Noticed a leak some time back and it was red so figured it was steering cylinder leak. Later looking closer tis is a new leak and its antifreeze (go figure its also red). Found the location and its the gasket between the head and thermostat housing. Would guess this is a paper type gasket and wonder why it would leak in that location. I have hardly ever seen a leak between two cast iron items unless blots loosen up and they look tight (I know looks can be deceiving).
