Hyster H50XM transmission slippage

It's a 1994 model. Forklift just came back from the forklift mechanic but he is a Nissan guy, not use to working on Hysters. After new transmission oil and filter it now slips when trying to drive up a ramp when machine is cold but no longer slips when warmed up. Did not do that before fluid change. Could he have used the wrong oil to cause this. Some Hyster models use J20C spec Deere oil. Does anyone know if my H50XM uses the same oil?

Standby Generator Maintenance

I oversee buildings and grounds maintenance for a local Town and we have two large standby generators. I'm going to assume the maintenance of them as I saw the bill from an outside contractor to do the work and my department can do the same for more than 75% less cost. They are powered by large John Deere 6 cylinder turbos and do a test run cycle once a week, running for about 20 minutes.

My question is how often should these units be serviced if they don't have an extended run period...

Pulling motor in a S300

I am going to be pulling the pump/motor pack from my 07 Bobcat S300 here in about a month once it starts getting warmer out. I am just trying to get parts here and be as prepared as I can be for it so I can get it done and back together with minimal down time.

I don't have too many questions on the removal itself, I have bought the service manual and it seems pretty straight forward. But if you guys have any tips or tricks I am all ears.

Hi guys,

Just fixed the transmission of this loader and now steering is not working. All pilot lines have no pressure. Checked all flow and pressure compensators all good nothing seems jammed.
Any idea?

I was told that the price was going to drop first of feb by 30.00 a ton but to day it droped 20.00 and they say next week its going to drop 30.00 more. I thought this would happen because i got busy at the end of summer and stock piled some to haul this winter. I stock piled some years ago and i even gave some away because it didnt come back for several years.
