time to retire my 01 international 4700, dt466e,,,, done had enuff with all the head achs of dealing with the dt466e,s if ur familiar with the truck then ya understand my feelings, NO POWER, CONSTANT ISSUES WITH TRUCK, been looking around at a few trucks to sit my body on, not sure what to go with,, found a few f 650s an 750s, they ve got the 3116 or 3126 in them, man. vrs auto. my 4700 has auto an its weak as crap, seen a couple freight liners, an seen a few sterlins, the sterlins an 06 with 375,000 miles an has a cummins 260 hp with Allison trains. good looking truck but I know the early sterlins had dash board issues with them being made of plastic an kept busting or cracking out when pushing parking brake in, or the doors kept cracking at the hindges, the guy is asking 10,500 for the truck, nice clean looking too, does anyone have any information on the sterlins, good or bad,,, don't wanta buy another lemon. wish I could find a newer style truck but still has the ole mechanical 8.3 cummins in it . them motors can take a beating.
