There are hundreds of ways of advertising a business. What has seemed best so far this year for me has been Google Adwords (pretty expensive), Facebook Ads, ranking in Google, and seemingly most importantly word of mouth. I offer both my workers and customers cash incentives to refer me customers for jobs that we close and it seems to be a solid method.
