Looking to enter the RGN world

mardi 1 avril 2014

Im looking to set up a truck with a RGN that will be very versitile combo in the RGN world. Im looking for advice on what combo works the best to cover a majority of available freight around the country. Whether it be a 3 axle truck with a 3 axle trailer or a pusher on the truck and a tag on the trailer. I dont think i want to go full throttle into extremely heavy freight but if the money is there and its worth it ill consider it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Door handle

I have a kabota kx91 digger, and my lovely man ripped the handle off whilst going through a gateway, do any others fit it or is it just a kabota part, and where can I get one....can't seem to find anything in England, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough .....

New to forums

I just bought a jcb 210s backhoe and have a mf165 farm tractor looking at fixing them both up. Going to need a manual for the jcb operators and service. Looking forward to getting involved with discussions on all kinds of projects. Just retired and looking forward to fixing things I want now.

Swivel

Greetings all, its been long since I last posted question here.

May I know what is the function of a swivel?

Also, if I am trying to dismantle it and replace the hoses, what should I do?

I also read something about marking the hoses, what is that about? =S

I am still a newbie in this.

Please kindly advise

D5M service codes

Hello all,

I am after some help with a D5M XL,the dash warning for battery, transmission and sometimes fuel, lights up and the warning buzzer goes off after start up.

The unit still moves in all directions ,steers and functions as normal.

I toggled into the service code section on dash between RPM and Hours and have written a sequence of codes that appear in order.

I am hoping that someone out there has knowledge of where to start.

The machine was fine in the past but has recently been washed for quarantine to enter the country so has has alot of water sprayed into all the nooks and crannies.

I have let it all dry out for a number of days and pulled apart many but probably not all connectors and sprayed them with WD40.

I'm at a loss of where to start and any help would be great.

Thanks from the land of smiles.

Grove Rough Terrain Crane Swivel trouble

I have an RT63S that I bought four years ago. It is a great crane for the thirty or forty hours a year we use it.

It has been losing ATF out of the transmission/torque converter for a while. We recently realized that ATF is going into the hydraulic reservoir. As the problem got worse recently the transmission pump can't even create enough pressure to keep the crane in gear.

One of our mechanics jumped right in and started disconnecting the electrical end and hydraulics to remove the seal.

Our first problem is that he didn't raise the boom before tearing it apart. Getting those boom cylinders out of the way is going to be tough.

Do any of you have hydraulic swivel seal experience?

Assuming our diagnosis is correct, is there some other underlying problem that could have damaged the swivel? Or do they just wear out?

The crane came with loads of literature and manuals, but there is nothing that shows much about the hydraulic swivel itself...

Thank you!

Jake

D4H service manual

Does anyone know a source for a service manual for a D4H that is not from the dealer, and does anyone know how to tell the year it was made and the series? Serial number 8pb04358
