Case 580K Stalling on Startup

So my Case 580K sat all winter. This spring when I started it up, it started just fine like it usually does. It idled for 3-4 seconds, then stalled out. When I tried to restart it, it had to crack for approx 30 seconds (which is not typical) because it finally caught and started. Then it ran fine after that for the rest of the day and several more restarts. The next day, on cold start-up, it did the same thing again.



I am guessing I am losing fuel pressure in the lines somewhere. I can't see any leaks. So what should I check first?

Not been in the industry long (couple of years) but love all the heavy equipment. and to be honest anything with an engine.

JLG PC Analyzer

New Holland drinking fuel!!!!!

Hey Gentlemen , I've got an 01 New Holland ls180. I it's a really strong machine that I really like. Except for the fact it's fuel milage is killing my profit. On an average day I only get six hours of the 13 gallon tank. Has anyone else experienced this out of that particular machine? It is the Ford three cylinder turbo btw. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Kubota KX 057

Just recieved a call from a kubota rep at my local dealer. They said I should bring the machine in as there has been a recall on a retaining bolt near the swing housing (this is what I was told I will try and look at a schematic.) They said the bolt has failed and caused destruction of the swing gears in the lower half of the machine. Was told it is a three day project and Kubota is footing the bill! Thought it was great that they not only stood behind it but also were willing to go the extra mile to call me and make sure I set up a time to bring it in. Just a warning to my fellow KX 057 owners. Machine is a 2011.

769D cat haul dump

When you replace the air pressure sensor behind the cab on these 769 cats. Do you have to reset the new sensor or can you just replace it and it should work? I installed a new sensor but the needle on my cluster does not raise even though I have plenty of air pressure because the parking brake does release.
