A300 drive issues

Got a bobcat a300 that the right side tires will not move. Got codes 38-31 and 38-07. All about the left y axis. I have checked wires and solenoids for hours. Everything checks out. Owner states it just quit. The left tires pull just fine. I am at my wits end, service manual is no help on the problem. Anyone know what to check

Some Repairs to do under 941 Loader

I have some repairs to do on the underside of my 941 Loader & am not sure how to approach the one item. Where track frame bolts to the machine on the inside, on the RH side of the machine, the previous owner had made an attempt to repair where the bolts broke by just welding the brackets to the inside of the track frame. I am planning to repair it & not sure if I should go to the trouble of burning out the broken bolts (all are broken off deep inside well below the surface of the brackets) & re tapping the threads or just grind & properly weld what is there, seeing that it is an old machine? Any suggestions on how to approach this?

Also there are about 5 belly pan bolts which are broken off that I plan to repair as well, now that I have the machine up in the air where I can work on it easier.

Some Repairs to do under 941 Loader

740A Grader Bounce on Road

As mentioned on an earlier post we recently put a new set of recaps on our old grader that purchased a few months ago & now I notice when roading the machine it does a fair bit of bouncing on the back end where the recaps were installed, when at about 3/4 speed.

I wonder if tire pressure is the culprit? Maybe too high? The tire place put the tires on & I am not sure of the pressure at this point. Tires are not radials & are 14-24's I believe. Anyone know what the ideal pressure to run on these tires is?

Polished front rims painted rear??

A friend of mine asked if I was going to be putting polished wheels on the front of my dump truck and leave painted on the rear. He said that is the way trucks used to be.

My question, aside from expense, is why wouldn't they have put polished all the way around or why wouldn't they have just left them all painted?

Was it because the rear wheels would be backing into all kinds of debris?

New Holland LS180 lift pump not running

Hello, I have been searching this problem and cannot get it narrowed down. I have even talked to the nearest dealer (face to face with three techs).

My LS180 (1999 model year) does not have power to the lift pump while in "normal" mode. It only has power to the pump when in "service" mode.

The engine and hydraulics run fine and we have used this machine for more than a month since we have noticed the problem. The only time we notice it, is when the injection pump loses prime (the fuel pickup grabs some air when the fuel level is low). As soon as we run it for a few seconds in service mode, we can go back to normal mode and continue work unhindered.

Has anyone had this problem?

They gave me some wiring diagrams at the dealer so that I can start tracking down components in that circuit.

Also, is there a website online that offers service manual at a subscription rate? We use Alldatadiy for our F series trucks but I have never seen one for equipment.

I would like to be able to look at the service manual but I can't bring myself to outright buy them when that machine may get traded in next season.

New Holland LS180 lift pump not running

Wear liners for komatsu hd 465

Just got finished adding 10" side boards and a wear liner in this truck. All the welding was with .045 Lincoln ultracore 71a75 dual dual shield wire, burned about 170lbs of it in total
