Old Galion starter

I purchased a Galion crane about a month ago that I have been restoring blind, (working on getting some manuals) but I had ordered a replacement starter for the old International engine ( oddly they had one listed for the crane at rate electric when I ordered it, but not now,)the starter I got is s physical match ,but only spins the engine around 8 rpms off a 1000 CA batt.
Did these cranes use a starter different from the ones used on other applications due to the pump being constantly driven off the crank, and would anyone happen to have the proper part number for one of those? (Preferrably a gear reduction type :-)
Right now I'm on the edge of starting this beast, but, it's just not spinning fast enough to fire. ( it had actually been sort of running before the old starter melted down, so I know it can do it, it just needs a faster starter)

Hi Everyone this forum has helped a lot with this machine thanks. I have an issue with it that I have had to replace the lower membrane twice in 2 years. This machine only gets used 10 times a year. Both time the outrigger buttons seem to short out. I was hoping someone might know what is causing this. The dealers around me have been no help. They just want to order a membrane but I am sick of spending 350 every year.

Kubota Kx 080-3 info??

Hi guys, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm looking at a 2008 Kx 080-3 and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them that could tell me their good/bad points. This one I'm looking at is a non turbo version. Are they powerful enough? Could I expect better fuel economy out of the non turbo motor? Has anything else changed significantly between the 2008 model and the current Kx 080-3? How does the kubota stack up against the other 8 tonnes? I will be using it to remove stumps, handle logs, dig trenches and other general clean up work on my farm.

2000 snorkel TB120 motion packs

Sup fellas,I recently against my better judgment purchaced a 2000 Snorkel TB120 to recondition and sell...there are many many reasons why this was a bad idea,and for what I paid for it.....like I SAID i know better...lol Anyway the unit needs a primary motion pac,fluid power has been out of buisness for years and the parts are unavalible.Snorkel offers a upgrade kit at the cost of $24,000....yea ok thats more then double what I paid for the piece of ****. My question is does anyone have one laying around i could purchace or does anyone know where i can source one out....willing to pay cash money for a known good one....thanx,Bob

Installed new Hyd. Pump, hydraulics have been drifting ever since...?

The hydraulic pump on our 980G recently went bad, so we replaced it with a new pump straight from our Cat dealer. As soon as it was installed both the tilt and lift have been drifting quite noticeably. Before the old pump went bad, this loader had no cylinder drift at all. We have looked into the main control valve, ride control accumulator, now they are thinking of re packing the cylinders. Is there anything else we could try?

2001 John Deere 624h instrument panel ?

Hello anyone know of problems with the gauges on a 2001 624h the digital display half works it will display the volts and hour meter but not the gear your in or the tach the analog gauges move to center when you turn the key on but fall to zero 2 seconds later also all warning lights turn on and off when the gauges fall flat I checked fuses and relays but haven't had much time to play with it thanks for any help
