Ok....its a bit of a stretch but I am pretty sure the original guys had logging in mind when these trucks were built.I have been Grizzly hunting for a few years and have found almost half of the trucks built are all on Vancouver Is.There are three of them just in Qualicum...I have found around 3/4 of them
I lived and worked in North Van when these trucks were built..I had just finished my 10 years at Pacific ..

Just a comment...
DANG that scarifier is amazing! Formally trained and experienced dirt operators will laugh, but I was watching some YouTube vids of graders working washboards out of gravel/dirt roads and it gave me some inspiration for our road with the JD 210LE.

Lock down the scarifier, pitch the Gannon box just so and viola! Good-by washboards and hello smooth road. I'm not exactly an Operating Engineer but our road look great (for a while...).

the old 580B Question

I have a question on the 580b case, The enine is a 188 and has the im thinking power shuttle, well the starter has a little bolt on the housing between the starter sylinoid, and starter motor, this bolt keeps leaking fluid around it, is this an adjustment bolt? can it be removed and an o-ring put on it to keep it from leaking? I guess a pic would help also ill try to get one

C13 twin turbo

ran across a 2006 pete with C13 twin turbo 428 hp serial#kcb 410,000 miles, are they really that bad.smokes white and has a water leak at radiator every one I talked to said dual turbos are bad . are there any tips or tricks to these ,or a good replacement option or just stay away all together

Bobcat X331 leaks around and inside turntable

I bought a X331 off a trader on craigslist. It was leaking when I tested it. I told him to fix the leaks and I'd buy it. His guy "fixed" the leaks ... possibly. He left so much hydraulic oil all over the place that it's been hard to tell how well he fixed things. I've tried to clean/degrease it a bit, but I don't have good access to water at the site where it's at. He's supposedly warrantying this thing against leaks for a month or so. So I need to figure out whether it's in good...
