Reinstallation order for torque converter in Deere 310D?

Hi everybody,

Would anyone have any insight on the order you should reinstall a torque converter and reverser on a'97 JD 310D? I got one mechanic telling me to install the torque converter first, bolt it down and then install the bell housing and reverser afterwards, and another mechanic saying you muscle the whole assembly in all at once and bolt the converter down through the little hole in the bell housing.

Both swear the other guy is wrong and the torque converter got damaged because...

Cement Powder

I don't know where to put this but does anybody have any experience with moving cement dust by air thru a hose?

I am looking into building a machine and need to know how much cement dust would move thru a certain diameter hose at 10 psi. Is there a way to figure that out?

Has anybody run a pneumatic semi trailer and hauled the cement powder? Do you know how long it take to unload so much powder?

Link Belt Quantum 2800 will not swing / rotate

got a call from cousin that has a Link Belt 2800/ Case 9040 last night from dirt pit saying Boom and Stick have hydraulics and operating, but the cab will not swing or rotate. Says it’s stuck in transport mode with boom facing forward. Any ideas where to start with this . From reading it looks like some folks say just needs to warm up, and other say hydraulic filter, or stuck solenoid valve.

The tack is reading high and going higher. I know this is a voltage from the alternator that tracks the rpm. Is there a way to fix the alternator so voltage is correct? thanks

case 580k dump valve handle won't go to the right

Have a 580k when try to dump the bucket the lever won't go to the right unless i push forward a little. if bucket is off the grouns 3ft then it works. The assembly is back inthere hard to see. so before i disassemble thought I would ask has anyone had this problem and what the solution was.

Just thought I would share a picture of my latest project, its a 1990 Belarus (Kirovet) 7011. I acquired it from an older gentleman in Southern Alberta. Surprisingly good shape and low hours (Around 1800)
Its been a real eye opening experience working on a machine that utilizes Soviet Technology, very impressive in some aspect and bewildering in others. Just some quick info on the tractor for anyone who is interested.
