This gasoline powered (G159 engine) backhoe/loader had been sitting for a few years with vertical exhaust uncovered. I was able to rebuild and get her started after a good cleanout and reground valve seats, etc. Flushed the engine oil (twice) and it now runs great (with no oil smoke).
Drained and refilled Hyd fluid (new filter, of course). Everything works perfectly!
So... I went to move the thing and the clutch does not engage (it would always grab at the very top). I can put it in gear just fine.
I'm going to adjust the pedal to max throw (since replacing the clutch plates, etc. looks like a huge job)... is there anything else that I should be aware of or can try before tackling the replacement clutch?
Thanks
