my not so new case 580c any advice appreciated

Hi i just picked up a case 580c that needs a little love and attention. please bare with me as I am new to using forums and case 580's.all and all she is in decent shape but needs some work. she runs like a top, the hydraulics are strong with no leaks and it has new tires with it(i have to put them on). Now the bad, the forward shuttle is weak,steering has some play,both buckets are a write off and the swing on the hoe has some play. i have been researching as much as i can about them and i am fairly confident that the tranny problem is the power shuttle pack.I am looking for any tricks or info to help make putting in the clutch plates in easier as well as anything i should look at or replace while i'm in there.Any and all information on the tractor or things to check would be appreciated.thanks from probably the newest of nubie when it comes to forums.ps. i'll put up pictures once i figure that out.
