Anyone using ex-military dumps as site trucks?
Artics are so darn expensive to purchase and operate when you don't have 100's of thousands of yards to move. I am on the smaller end of the dirt moving scale but still run across jobs where an inexpensive site truck would fit the bill to move a couple 100 to a couple thousand yards.
Most I am seeing come with a Cummins and an Allison behind it, pretty dependable.
Any experience, civilian and military pros and cons are welcome. Thanks.
