ok.. i was left a owatonna 330 skid steer from my father.. one day it just stopped working.. he never diagnosed it, just left it there. well i wanted to get it running again. i have no knowledge of this tractor, no manual or anything, just using my automotive skills in diagnosing it. i bought new plugs, wires, coil, condensor an i still have no spark. took the cover off the points and also pulled plug out to see if there was a spark an nothing. but put a screw driver on the points and it seems like its getting power to there because it started arcing. a wire that came from the + terminal on battery to the ignition switch came off but i just back together by twisting the wires, i know not the best but i thought it would work to at least get it to start. so my main question is, what else is left on this ignition sytem seems like the i trouble shooted or bought new of the ignition system. any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
