looking into buying an older skid steer for hunting property,, ive been around several different types,, even worked for cat for 8 yrs an seen all the issues there skids have to offer too. ive owned a 763 bobcat that I got cheap an built motor an resold for a great price, looking to get an older machine that dosent have all the electronic crap on it as they do today, ive worked on few new hollands lx865.s an they seem to be a pretty tuff skid loader, have 60 hp, twin bucket cylinders, common 3 cylinder motor to easily find an get parts for at a reasonable price, but ive seen the specs on the LX885 an there the same hp an lift capacity , so whats the differ in it an the 865, an whats the differ in the L an LX models, found an LX 865 with good tires an tooth bucket an metal tracks all for 10,500 they didn't give the hrs tho nice if was a high flow unit
