Dear well and esteemed forum-ners!
I am new to this industry and would like to speedily catch up on tower crane progressions.
From what I have heard, there are many devices in the tower crane, mostly for safety purposes like the torque limiter, load moment limiter, etc. There were also cameras installed on a few tower cranes for unknown reasons. I am in need of more knowledge from credible sources for the different functions and features of tower cranes as there are so many different tower cranes in the world and I would like to know what the competitive edge is and how to improve safety of the tower crane.
Lets make this site a knowledge thread for people like me to understand the tower crane functions and features. We would also be able to keep ourselves updated on the latest technology used in tower cranes.
