I am looking for a 8-ton mini excavator in the market. The job would be mainly for foundation work, pile cap digging not particularly deep excavation work involve. From local market analysis, I have a couple brands to choose in my region, CAT, Volvo (ECR88), Doosan(DX-85R) and Hyundai|(80-7). Prices are from high to low repeatedly. CAT price is too high for me so thats out of question, which then left me Volvo (ECR88), Doosan(DX-85R), Hyundai|(80-7). I am totally new to the field with limited knowledge to decide, very much appreciate you guys suggestions.

Volvo - USD$90,000
Dossan - USD$67,500
Hyundai- USD$54,000
1) Expense wise, i would jump right into hyundai any time, BUT the brand is so new to me that I really doubt the quality compare to the other two.
2) Volvo and Dossan share same country of origin and very much similar specs. therefor i dont see that i would be paying more money for Volvo.
3) If its worth that money i might even consider getting CAT as while.
Anyway these are just my newbie thought. Feel free to point me wrong.
