Enerpac RCH 1003

I recently picked up an enerpac rch 1003 and P-464 at an auction. On the pallet with my enerpac was two 1.5" dia rods with threads on each end. On one end there are two flats for wrench or something. Each one also came with a 5" OD nut, also with two flats for a wrench or something. On the box these came in it reads Thomson pull rod and nut. One of the rods have a PN s-823-a. I'm not sure what these are and I can't find anything online about a Thomson pull rod and nut. Are they accessories for my enerpac or something completely different. Any help identifying these would be greatly appreciated.
