ok so last February I was using my dads ( he passed in 2013 ) backhoe - it was raining. so I killed it and I could not get it started alls it would do is click like the starters bad, so I when in the house. I was working a lot of OT or working on the house to get it ready to sell. I really didnt have time to look at the tractor until now - I replaced the battery (new) and all it would do is click when I turn the key. I'm thinking the starters bad so I ask a friend thats a truck mechanic to come over - we fittle with the starter and it seems like it has a bad spot. I go to Napa auto parts (this morning) and get a new starter ($254) Im running the tractor for a few hours. stopped to have lunch and now the thing will not start and clicks like the before - I have no clue whats wrong and hope someone here may have an idea.
