Gentlemen:
We have a CAT D5G in the yard we can start -- But, there is
NO Track movement at all. This Cat D5G was disassembled
and re-assembled for a slightly different application... The ECM
and the Wiring have been installed on the machine....
I can start the Diesel OK. The Engine seems to run OK.
The Problem is: We appear to have a: Active Alarm with
a Flashing Code: 1 quick flash plus 4 Short Flashes... ???
There appears to be a problem which Inhibits Track Movement!
I do NOT have a Lap-top with The ET Software Installed ...
How would I go about Troubleshooting this Issue??
Does the Computer (ECM) common ( J1-70) J764 - Brn
get Tied to Frame Ground? Could there be a Sensor Issue?
Will I require the ET Software to troubleshoot this Issue??
I Need to know the Quickest and Fastest WAY to get this
Issue Resolved -- we have a Customer who is not to happy
and he wants his machine ASAP. I ask for any and ALL
