Caterpillar D9H top radiator tank

We have a D9H at the moment with a stuffed top radiator tank, it's a cast tank part number 7N0693 we have found another tank to replace it but it's about 1000km away and the bloke who has it is telling me it's a pressed steel tank does anyone know if these tanks interchange or if there are 2 different types of top radiator tanks in the D9H tractors? Maybe earlier and later machines
