Hello Folks, Carl B. from the U.P. again. A couple of weeks ago I posted a question about my 490D John Deere Exc. Well It turned out to be the main pump. now with new pump it digs and swings and travels like new! However, it seems as though the relief valves for the crowd in and out and the boom up and down are not working, as it will stall the motor! The other functions, swing, bucket, travel seem to work right. When we were trying to get this figured out, we did take the relief valves out looking for dirt/blockage, etc. but they were clean and appeared to be in good order and we had not messed with adj. at all. Gonna try my luck tomorrow with the Deere guy again, he turned out to be right about the pump. I just wonder if there is some other relief valve in there somewhere, pump maybe? Again any help will be appreciated, Thanks, Carl B.
