Any one out there that can run some serial numbers and Identify 2 engines for me?
I had a truck go down today. Valve leaking oil on cylinder#1. I have another engine sitting right here and rather than wait for parts, I am wondering if I can steal the head off of the other and put it on so I can get this truck going today.
Serial # on the first engine is: 10976276
Serial # on second is: 10791250
I am assuming that they are both nt855 big cam IV's, but thought I would check to be sure. I would hate to mess something up on an assumption.
