The transmission was working fine then the steering quite and and the forward and reverse quit functioning , it acted liked the pump was out . I took the pump out inspected it looked to be good put new bearings and seals in the pump and put it back on it's still acted the same way I then ordered a new pump installed it with no affect . I then pull the transmission changed all worn parts new plates clutches as needed all new seals o rings reinstall the transmission .It acted the same way with I took the modulator valve out found it to be worn reboard honed the case chrome up the spool and ground it to fit the case reinstalled it with no difference in its reactions transmission makes no no pressure But by by plugging the oil cooling line it will both make pressure and transmission will function but any amount flow through the plug. Both pressure and movement stops .Does anyone have similar experience or any suggestions .
D31A-17 tran has no pressure
