Hi everyone, I'm just wondering how some of you would approach the following situation. If any of you have read my previous post, I'm looking for some dozers to do some farm development in West Africa. In terms of chosing a D8, which one of the following option would appeal to you more:
Option 1 - An older D8 H/K
After looking around the usual sites, I've managed to find some older H/K's but have relatively low hours on them (considering their age) and have generally been well maintained through their life. From just looking online, theres quite a few good deals about at the moment.

Option 2 - A more recent D8 L/N
These would be much more expensive than the H/K's I've found, and seem to have been 'well used' and clocked up some serious hours.

I'm just curious what path others would go for if they were in my shoes. Do you snap up an older well priced machine that has reasonable hours or would you shell out the extra cash for the sake of having a more modern variant with a high drive but which has been subject to heavy use?

D8 H/K vs D8 L/N - What would you choose?
