I have a TD25H torque on the bench and I have found that we have 1/8'' in float on the stator (the stator should have a small amount of preload obtained by shims under the torque converter drive housing cover plate) all bearings have been replaced with dressta bearings.There is no signs of wear on any bearing surfaces and/or lands or sholders.
At this point of time I am thinking that incorrect componets have be used i.e incorrect stator or impeller or turbine.
Does any one out there have a disassembled convertor that I can obtain mesurments from, or has any one got one for sale.
