No one in my area is any help with the problems i currently have with my genie lift, its a Z45/25 and its the 45' or the second boom that wont raise, it has the sound that the hydarulic fluid is moving when you move the switch on the machine at the ground or in the basket, removed the solenoid and guess valve replaced the o-rings and put it back in didn't help.Checked the wiring with a light but it was dim when you engaged the switch either moving up or down, when i used the same light to test any of the others that work correctly the light glows bright (not dim). checked all the grounds i could find but no luck.
can anyone give me a direction to check, when i push the toggle to move the boom that takes you up to the 45; mark it tries to move just a little but wont move more than a couple of inches...the sound you hear kinda fits whats happening (no real way for me to describe the sound but its different compared to the ones that work.....replaced a lot of the orings in many of the "valaves" lots were dry rotted and most worked much better after replacing the o-rings. This problem was present BEFROE replacing any o-rings......
