New Holland LS185B LS180 Control Valve Repair

mercredi 11 novembre 2015

The control valve (under the foot plate) on my LS185.B is leaking from the underside of the control valve body and from one of the spool valves (bucket curl) on the back. I replaced the seals on the control valve for my S185 a few years ago but I believe I had a service manual sitting right in front of me. I just wanted to see if anyone else has done one on a New Holland. I suspect the LS180/LS190 are about the same and if they had any tips or tricks before I get started. If it was just leaking from the spool valve I think it would be pretty simple to leave the control valve on the machine, but I believe it is leaking from one of the bolts/orings on the underside of the control valve that requires removal to access.

So far I have taken off all the pans, steam cleaned the machine, and rechecked to make sure it was leaking from the control valve (it is). I noticed the bolts holding the valve body on were hand loose. I plan to head to the dealer tomorrow and get the oring/seal kit. The main issue I foresee is the hard lines running to the control valve and pulling it out of the machine. Should I be worried about anything or should I just dive right in. Thanks for any help in advance.
