We have a cat 287b on tracks that we use around the farm and it has given too much trouble but recently the hydraulics have given alot of trouble from time to time. All the hydraulics on the machine will just suddenly shut off and you will have to hit the switch that you usually hit to get it moving to start with and it will start working again. This leads one to think that it is one of the safety switches that is momentarily shutting it off and requires the reset to start working again. Sometimes you can go 20 minutes in between and sometimes you hardly get your finger off the switch before it is off again. It is expecially annoying when moving at a good speed and it suddenly comes to an immediate stop. Just curious if anyone had a problem like this and had a good idea where to start looking.
