Had some very serious issues the other day with my TL26 as far as a firey demise to parts of my harness... Only thing I can see so far is that the solenoid got smoked and melted quite a lot of the positive wiring...
I've gone through the harness and replaced the burned wires....it was not fun.. I think however I am going to buy new factory harnesses... Ever since I purchased it both the temp and fuel gauges just bury all the way to the positive side when the ignition is turned on.... It seems like a grounding issue but I have been unable to find it so far...
Anyone have this problem before? Does it appear to be grounding, or do the gauge clusters go bad on these? They are like $800 for a new one, I am not real excited to buy a new one... Anyone ever put some Autometer or equivalent gauges in place of the cluster?
Unrelated question - someone painted this thing with a "Rhino Liner" looking material....Looks like crap... I'd like to remove it and repaint the machine.. How the heck do you get this stuff off?
