Lastec articulator 3300 PTO trouble

I have, as listed on the thread title, a lastec articulator 3300. We haven't used it for months as it will get stuck at even the thought of rain and wet ground. I brought it out today and the PTO won't come on. This happened before and it was a simple cleaning of the mower deck switch. Now, clean as can be, it won't work. It comes on and off at will, stays on when stopped cycles between on and off when moving. I've adjusted the switch plate in and out with no avail. Every time I think I have it take it out and it stops. I've looked all over for a proper adjustment but I can't find one anywhere online. The owners manual is no help and I can't find a service manual pdf.

Does anybody know how to properly adjust the switches?
Does anybody know where I can find a service and repair manual for it?
Can anybody think of anything obvious I may be missing?
