Not sure the best forum for this. I just picked up an old (late '70s?) Case ATN 1000 reversible plate compactor, with a Hatz E75 diesel on it.
Obviously i'm not using an old dinosaur like this on a paid job, just on my own 1000 ft long driveway. Plus, i have a 'thing' for functional antique machinery.
I can't seem to find much online about this compactor. Did they make very few of these? Did they all fall apart, and there's none left functioning?
Anyone know anything about these?
