I'm looking at a 2011 MTL320 (same as TL240). 2k hours.
At low RPM the engine pulsates or surges. At medium RPM it's less noticeable. At full throttle it seems sooth.
I opened the air filter and it was packed with dirt. Looking at the dates on the filters I'd say no service except greasing for a year. The owner seemed surprised and is having a mechanic come service it.
What causes idling like this on these little yanmar's. Dirty injector? Is this a major problem and I should walk?
