Excavator turret stops and goes, slow reaction on joysticks

Hello Folks, I'm a virgin to the site so be gentle... I have an older Fiat Allis FE20LC excavator, 1985. I'm having issues with the hydraulics. When I spin the turret it will go 1/4 turn come to stop for a bit then get going again then stop again, it takes 15 + seconds for the controls to work when given a push or pull on the joysticks. I have replaced the filters. It has a Hydromatik GMBH A8V pump...I've been to there website and it mentions that the pump needs to be bleed if it sits for while but can't find where the bleed ports would be and don't want to go around just cracking lines and plugs... Any help would be greatly appreciated.....I want to use it this year for mining gold on my claim so I can't really afford $108 an hour plus mileage for a mechanic.....Thanks, Mike
