Hi all, been awhile since I've been on here. Starting back with 8K after trans rebuild. My question is how much radial movement is acceptable in the ring gear and carrier when the bolts are fitted, but not tightened. The bolts are fairly snug in the ring gear, but considerably looser in the carrier. New cat bolts. Two very experienced cat mechanics have differing opinions. One says carrier OK, other not so sure, since constantly changing directions. I want to do this only once:cool2, but I'm leaning towards a new carrier although I havent priced one yet.
