Daewoo DSL 801 Sticky Pedal Problem

mardi 19 avril 2016

Hi Folks I'm looking for a little help.

Working on a friends Daewoo DSL 801 Slid Steer. There is a bar with three foot pedals, the right hand foot pedal rotates the bucket, the middle isn't in use and the left raises and lowers the bucket.

The pedals are normaly in a neutral position, if you want to rotate the bucket you press fwd/backward on the right pedal until position you want and the foot pedal returns to neutral and closes the valve. Basic.

The issue we are having is the left pedal doesn't return to neutral and will continue engaged after you have lifted your foot off, raising the bucket, I was told that it can actually flip its self upside down.

There is a bar that connects the foot pedals and is divided into three sections, each with a bushing and its own grease point. They rotate individually. Next to the right pedal there is three sets of linkages with rods that lead directly into the valve body. There are no springs.

I have re greased, cleaned everything up a bit and lubed the bushings.

The right pedal works fine and returns right away, the middle pedal returns very slowly, and the left doesn't return.

Thanks for the help, Id like to get these guys back and running.
