first im new here so ill go ahead and say hello.
I hate to get on here and ask a question first hand but im trying to help this older fella out. he has a fiat allis that I believe is a fiat allis hd 11b. serial number 25L19382.
oil is coming from around the starter bendix. my question is if it has a wet flywheel housing. if so I can check to see if it has a scavenge pump problem. if its a dry housing then we apparently have convertor problem. it loses bevel gear oil for some reason so I assume the get to the torque convertor or flywheel and has to make its way back. it doesn't do it bad and only sometimes. if its a wet housing I am wondering if they left the rubber ball for the starter out. some cat loaders have these and I think maybe the allis takes them also.
