Long time Lurker first real post. had my first hiccup with my Midi.
i was grading some ruts on the driveway up the side of the house and i broke a u-bolt. i stopped immediately. replaced the Ubolt the next morning. all good?..nope
now when i turn close to full lock it binds. sounds like the hydraulic pump is struggling. i popped the hood. hood took a look everything seems ok. looked underneath all seems fine.
the front drive shaft has a clean spot that i figured was from the axle moving a bit when the ubolt let go in the rear. like 1/4" or less of a clean spot. drove fine just didnt turn all the way to the left and its fine. only like 30 minutes to finish filling etc.
this morning i went to move it and no steering. finally after letting it warm up for 5-10 minutes could i get the steering wheel to turn enough to pull it out of the drive way.
so it sits for now.
this is my first problem ever. 1000+ hours.
its a 2009 Midi Cx4
any ideas or help would be appreciated.
