Marine Corps Veteran new HEO

mardi 19 avril 2016

Well guys and gals, my name is Jeff. I graduated Heavy Construction Academy in New Hampshire back in 2012 and am just now getting the ability to get into actually operating by being able to purchase my own backhoe. I pursued this field after serving four years in the Marines with a deployment to Afghanistan and after seeing my fellow Marines that were HEO's doing the various task they were able to accomplish I was impressed and knew it was something I wanted to do myself. Well 4 years later I now have the oppurtunity and after battling with the Veterans Admin for the same amount of time it is amazing that they are both coming to frutation at the same time.

Other than HE I was an Armorer/Gunsmith in the Marines, and have been doing that and some competition/tactical shooting and training on the side. I use to ride motorcycles, but after wreaking on one in 2011 which ended my military career, and no having owned two since the accident and rode them a total of about 20 miles after getting them home I have decided I am going to stop riding them and hang up my helmet and join the world of four wheels again. I do a little off roading with my 90' Jeep XJ. My jeep and I will grow old together, and hopefully I will be able to put some life into it with a fresh rebuild. Can't decide weather I want to make it a BEAST, or make it a functional vehicle. A BEAST will give me headaches in other aspects a less extreme version of my build will garner, but it will also go down all of the trails I would ever go to, but again, I don't like going on the ones that even have a moderate chance of rolling over, so I probably will do a minor lift, and more make it a weekend warrior and not a dedicated rock climber.

I am married to my wife now for four and a half years. I met her 45 days after my accident and 45 days later we were married, and we have had our bumps and weaves but we have persevered and are more in love than ever, and with our first son expected on June 1st, we are very excited parents to be.

Well a little about me, a little about you?? Thanks for all future advise and wisdom I gain from each of you personally and from past and future post I may read.
