New Holland LS170 starting issue, key switch?

mardi 12 juillet 2016

we have a new holland ls170 that cranks over good but wont start until you let go of the key switch...

what is happeing is that the circuit that feeds the fuel solenoid is dropping power while cranking down to .4v, which is not enough to hold it open.... as soon as the key switch is released, the power returns to the circuit and if the engine is just right on its revolutions, it will fire and run...

but while the key is held in the start position, it will not run at all.

the key switch has been replaced....
the start relay has been replaced.....
the rectangular relay that is immediatley above the start relay has been replaced
and the starter has been replaced.....

we cant find a grounded wire, but when the key switch is is turned to the start position, the blue wires with the yellow stripe and the rectangular relay, which have 12v power and NEED to be hot to energize the fuel solenoid, LOSES power when the engine cranks.....

where should we look for the problem?
