Lowboy Refurbishment Project

jeudi 3 novembre 2016

We purchased this 5 year old 55 Ton Lowboy a year ago with the realization that it needed a new paint job. Some of the main structural members were starting to get quite pitted from the winter salt on the roads. We pulled it off the road a few weeks ago & stripped it down, removing the old planks, air reservoirs, hyd cylinders, loosened all air valves, air lines etc & went to work blasting the frame. We took it to a local company that has a 60' long spray booth for priming & painting. They did a great job on the painting for us. Just got things back together & on the road Name: 20161020_135031.jpg Views: 1 Size: 176.0 KBName: 20161026_085310.jpg Views: 1 Size: 184.4 KBName: 20161102_082100.jpg Views: 1 Size: 192.6 KBName: 20161102_082118.jpg Views: 1 Size: 192.1 KBName: 20161102_082134.jpg Views: 1 Size: 210.3 KByesterday. A lot of work, but it should be worth it in the long run.
