So got the first batch of oil samples back, one for the trans and one for the main hydraulics, now I just refilled the 30 gallon resivoir and an additional 12 gallons for everything else after a center pin, steering cylinder (2) and pilot pump overhaul. Here's the numbers.
Silicon was high, wondering if we got some dirt stirred up in scrubbing the system or if its dirt migration from opening and closing things up? we tried hard to keep the open steering cylinders clean by stuffing them with rags and wrapping the ends but it was all done outside.
Plans are to add in a bypass filter, 12 micron main hydraulic seems rather big. Thinking of stealing 1gpm from the 644E's pilot pump circuit and running that through a differential restrictor setup then the filter so it won't get overpressure or flow.
