I was wondering if anyone knew a good site to get a Cat wiring diagram. I am working on the starting circuit of my Cat 426 backhoe. The starter only engages part of the time. Often it just clicks. I finally can get it to engage after several clicks of the key switch. I put a new key switch in and that did not fix it. While doing this I noticed a solenoid under the instrument panel that appears to be the starter solenoid. It looks like an old time Ford type solenoid. I tried jumping across this and the same thing happened. I was wondering if there was another connection in the line between this solenoid in the cab and the one on the starter. The one on the starter is brand new and works fine when tested at the starter shop.
