New to backhoes and just found this site and hoping someone out there can give me a little direction. Unloader circuit on the transmission is not working. Pulled the solenoid and the end plug seal to remove the spool valve. Spool valve seems to be in pretty good shape. Hooked up the solenoid up on the bench and it pulls in (retracts back in the solenoid about 1/8 inch. From looking at the repair manual I can't tell just how far it needs to move or if it is suppose to possibly push. Anyone got any ideas if the solenoid is bad or how far it should retract? Anyone also know where I might start looking to find one? Thanks in advance.
