Genie Z 45/22 Rotation Problem

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. I have spent some time reading other posts and there seems to be lots of great information offered here. I recently purchased a 1994 Genie Z 45/22 4x4 Boom Lift. The machine has 3,500 hours on it. Serial number is 4265. Machine has a Deutz Diesel Engine. Machine Drives good all functions work both from ground as well as the basket. Here is my Problem. Once you raise the basket up and start to rotate to the left it will only go about 22 degrees and stop and you can not go back without a lot of messing around. Sometimes you can "Boom up" and get your "center of gravity" closer to center and go back. Any ideas will be greatly welcomed
